About Spread Delights

Who makes all the spreads and jam?

We produce everything in our own beautiful facility here in Clifton, NJ. We start with raw ingredients (nuts and fruit) and roast or cook them to perfection. We then process them with state of the art equipment to make the perfect texture spread.

Do your spreads come in a jar?

Ah, glad you asked. We may one day put our product in a jar, but we initially designed Spread Delights as a single-serve complement to spread on our grab & go line of bakery products (croissants, muffins and pound cakes) fruit, or your favorite snack. We are considering a multi-pack option soon and, eventually, jars.

Is your product NON-GMO verified?

We are working on our NON-GMO Project verification. We promise that our spreads are all made from Non-GMO ingredients. We hope to be verified by late Fall, 2018.

Are Spread Delights Kosher?

Our pastries and facility are Kosher.

What is the shelf life of the Spreads?

The expiration date is located on the back of every stick pack. From the manufacturing date, the jam has a 6-month shelf life and the chocolate hazelnut and almond spreads have a 12-month shelf life.

Ingredients & Allergens

Do you process peanuts in your facility?

No, we do not. We are a peanut free facility.

Are Spread Delights Gluten Free?

The products do not contain any gluten; however, they are made in our bakery. Although the spreads do not come in contact with any of the bakery processes, we cannot guarantee that the spreads are 100% gluten free.

Why does the jam say that it “may contain tree nuts” when the ingredients are only fruit, sugar and pectin?

All Spread Delights are packaged on the same equipment. We thoroughly clean the equipment after every product run, but there is always a risk of cross contamination.

Is there Palm Oil in Spread Delights? If so, is it sustainably sourced?

We only use all-natural, responsibly sourced palm oil to keep our almond and chocolate hazelnut spreads creamy and the rainforests unaffected.
